The Ladies of Te Tango Ropiiango and their Wonder Bra

The ladies of Tango Ropianga have created a Wonder Bra in support of breast cancer  awareness.

Made of 2 industrial hard hats and netting, our bra is not only practical, and strong, but is also symbolic. It teaches facts about breast cancer and educates on support that is available.

Yesterday we entered our bra into the Breast Cancer Bra Decorating Contest.  Voting has started and each vote costs $1. At 6pm this Friday the winning bra that gets the most votes will be  announced.

All proceeds go to the Cook Islands Breast Cancer Foundation’s programme of bringing women from the Pa Enua to Rarotonga so they can all have breast screening mammograms done.

Breast cancer is the 12th cause of death in the Cook Islands.  Risk increases with age and men can also get breast cancer. See our Wonder Bra for more details.

Voting is at Knickers in a Twist shop in Tupapa.
